Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (AECOM) is going to perform a subsurface investigation at the Gofer Closed Landfill site to delineate the extent of groundwater contamination. Groundwater will be sampled during the investigation for dissolved manganese, 1,4-dioxane, PFAS substances, and VOCs during the drilling stages and well sampling stages. Soil samples will be collected for sieve, grain-size, analysis at the depth groundwater samples are collected. Ten monitoring wells will be constructed, developed and sampled.
