Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to prepare the Bid Specifications packet for the Phase XVIII Corrective Actions; perform monitoring well installation oversight; conduct soil gas sampling at properties along Skunk Creek; and to collect sampling location information using GIS technology at the former Kettle River Company - Creosote Plant Site in Sandstone, Pine County, Minnesota. These actions will protect human health and the environment from the impacts of creosote.
