If this was a single source contract, explain why the agency determined there was only a single source for the services (if applicable) Due to COVID restrictions we could not partner with the farm we traditionally use for the winter grow out, Alger Farms was identified by other State Certification Agencies as having the skills, equipment and expertise to effectively manage a winter grow out with the specific goal of certifying seed potatoes.
