Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun Intertec Corp will conduct a groundwater investigation to delineate the type and extent of groundwater contamination around the Carlton County 2 (North) Closed Landfill. The investigation will include: continuous soil sampling, installation of temporary monitoring wells, well development and groundwater sampling (up to 3 samples per well: shallow, middle and deep) of the temporary wells. The 18 existing monitoring wells will also be sampled. All wells will be analyzed for VOCs, dissolved total RCRA metals, dissolved manganese, 1,4-dioxane and PFAS.
