Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Braun Intertec is going to perform a subsurface investigation at the Hopkins Closed Landfill to delineate the extent of groundwater contamination. Braun will install five nested monitoring well pairs (10 wells) set in the unconsolidated aquifer. Braun will prepare drilling specifications and oversee drilling activities. New wells will be developed. A round of groundwater sampling will be conducted at new and existing wells. Braun will prepare a report summarizing methods and results.
