Minnlink Team at the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare will use existing data at their warehouse to answer some research questions with aggregate data that measures children mental health programs and services. The result will serve as a "pilot" to the development of an integrated data system for children's mental health in Minnesota. Minnlink will also support Department of Human Services effort to amend and/or secure new data sharing agreement necessary for the next phase of the project. Minnlink will provide consultation and budget for the next phase of the project which will include public facing dashboards that will make aggregate children mental health outcomes data readily available to stakeholders throughout the state.

The University of Minnesota's Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare is the only entity that has the data the System of Care Team are interested in. The Center has data from several government agencies dating back over 18 years. The Center has an experiences in using integrated data from government agencies as well as existing data sharing agreements with three state agencies in the state-Departments of Human Services, Education and Corrections.
