AECOM will oversee the installation of bedrock observation wells (via rotosonic drilling methods) within the expanded boundary finalized by the project team in FY22. AECOM will provide coordination, oversight, and logging during the well installation fieldwork.

Following well installation, slug testing, initial sampling and surveying will be completed by AECOM to aid in the ongoing data assessment. Surveying of the new well locations will be completed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources under a contract directly with the MPCA.

In addition, AECOM will continue to develop intuitive visualization tools that will aid in developing a comprehensive three-dimensional CSM using Leapfrog Works 3.0 that will allow for visually communicating the complex geologic environment in an easily communicated format. AECOM will execute future work scopes (in FY22) to better understand the role that Project 1007 has had on the conveyance of PFAS in the environment. And AECOM will continue to develop three-dimensional visualizations that will be used to communicate technical concepts to a broad audience (presentations and public meetings).

AECOM will manage all subcontracts in accordance with the procurement process outlined in the "MPCA Contractor and Subcontractor Purchasing Manual".
