Contract is for an architectural historian to carry out a Phase I and Phase II study of the architectural history properties identified during the Phase IA investigation iwithin the proposed work area on the TH 169 corridor through the Mille Lacs reservation and into Garrison MN (Between MN 18 and CSAH 26). The work is necessary for compliance with Section 106 of the
National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (federal regulations at 36 CFR 800) and Section 4(f) of the Department
of Transportation (DOT) Act.
