Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WCEC will sample groundwater from up to 400 residential wells for PFAS, and make arrangements for transport of samples to the analytical laboratory. Up to 20 residences will also be sampled for VOCs. As requested by MPCA, WCEC may also collect samples from residences with existing GAC vessels to treat the water. Sampling will occur primarily north of I-94 (Lake Elmo, West Lakeland, Stillwater, Oakdale, and Lakeland areas).
