Two amendments were executed to provide ConvergeOne with additional time to complete their work.
The contractor relied heavily on a data collection agent to be installed on 100 servers to collect usage information and provide a summary of cost for two cloud vendors.
The project deliverables consisted of two generic PowerPoint presentations instead of a report format that was expected. The cost comparison for the various cloud options were initially summarized. The State required ConvergeOne to detail out the costs for each cloud option.
ConvergeOne was the highest scoring contractor based on cost. A follow-up meeting was held before awarding the contract to ensure that the contractor understood the deliverables.
As the project was nearing completion, the contractor requested the State to perform time consuming work to provide Oracle AWR reports on each of the 100 servers to ConvergeOne. The contractor should have noted this request up-front. After the State provided this data, it was found that the data wasn't utilized as part of the assessment.
