This project re-engineered existing, often redundant processes, thereby establishing new approaches to problems and will lay the framework for the practice of effectively managing MnDOT's capital highway financial tracking for the production of Minnesota's Capital Surface Transportation program and federally required STIP, along with other capital highway project reporting and management needs.

EcoInteractive worked with the State to scope, document, and communicate an overall delivery strategy for the larger contract deliverable that was reasonable and acceptable for both parties. When other enhancements were requested by the State, they evaluated them and worked with the State to prioritize them and come to an acceptable delivery schedule without needing to change their larger contract deliverable schedule.
Requirements and solution design were documented by the vendor and presented to the project team for understanding and acceptance prior to them starting any product development.
Delivered product changes appeared to be fully tested by the vendor prior to them moving them into the test environment. They follow best practices and are consistent with previous application deliverables.
EcoInteractive adjusted their application's data structures and data types to accommodate the State's needs for reporting. Including adding primary key columns and separating a few text columns to a boolean column and a related date column.
Upon the State's suggestion, they modified their application interface to make it easier for users to view the key data elements on one application screen.
EcoInteractive has provided good value for the cost.
The State requested EcoInteractive to change how application data was delivered to the State. They went above and beyond to accommodate that change at no additional cost to the State. Their solution provided the State the ability to pull both test and production data from the application by table as needed or pull all the application data via an API from their datastore. This allows the State the ability to adjust our data pull schedule, when necessary, very easily.
EcoInteractive has been responsive to business and data questions and assisting in testing required State technical changes.
EcoInteractive is very accommodating and cooperative and a great vendor to work with.
