Emergency Staffing and Hospital Decompression

Residential long term care facilities are experiencing staffing shortages due to COIVD-19 outbreaks so this vendor hired temporary staff to work up to 14 days in those facilities. The state also needed to increase the number of available nursing home beds so that patients who no longer needed hospital level of care could be discharged, thus relieving the shortage of hospital beds due to the pandemic. This vendor hired employees to staff one of the four decompression sites.

Vendor was very responsive to inquiries.
For the most part, the staff hired by vendor were qualified and ready to work. Vendor was unable to consistently locate and hire staff to help with emergency staffing but was able to hire staff for the decompression sites.
Competitive with other staffing firms in this time of extreme staffing shortages.
Good.
