Hinckley Bridge Subsurface Investigation
1047944
The contractor provided foundation borings and performed lab tests to produce detailed boring logs for a project to replace four bridges near Hinckley. The boring logs help determine what types of bridge foundations would be recommended, and MnDOT's drilling crews were busy at the time when this data was needed. Delaying the field work was not an option, as this
work was on the critical path.

The original PM for AET left his job half way through the project, and yet it didn't delay any of the project work. AET provided
deliverables in a timely manner.
An oversight on the part of the drilling crew required rework at AET's cost. No issues with other deliverables quality.
Cost is reasonable for this type of work.
