20-Year Strategic Facilities Asset Management Plan
1033220
MnDOT Office of Maintenance-Building Services needed a document that could provide a very good map for where we need to go with financing of future plans and programs, taking into account historic and current spending on capital and
maintenance. This needed to project at least 20 years, and in this case, 80 years for some of the data extrapolation. We now
have a document that informs MnDOT internally as well as legislators and the public about the building and funding needs
within the Office of Maintenance.

The contractor was timely in most things. The extension of the contract was due to coordinating with findings in our space & security contract and with making additional presentations to key audiences.
The contractor has a history of doing very good work for the State of Minnesota and this was found to be true with this contract also. This included personnel, communication to me as PM, and deliverables.
The contractor's cost is above average. It is entirely possible that had other bidders come forward, that cost could have enabled another qualified bidder to win the contract.
