Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The contractor will repair 3 monitoring wells and install 3 additional monitoring wells. The contractor will install 2 additional soil borings. The contractor will submit soil and groundwater samples from the additional monitoring wells and borings to a laboratory for analysis of DRO, GRO, and VOCs. In addition, the contractor will collect samples from all monitoring wells (for three quarterly events) and submit to a laboratory for analysis of DRO, GRO, PVOCs, and VOCs. The contractor will collect and submit 4 soil vapor samples for laboratory analysis. All hiring of subcontractors will be performed in accordance with the purchasing manual.
