Create Shop Safety Curriculum

MDE is need of curriculum to be developed around best practices in shop safety in schools. The Career and Technical Education (CTE) program approval process outlined in Minnesota statute requires that each CTE teacher provide appropriate safety instruction to their students. This resource is being developed to provide guidance in best practices from the community and in alignment with industry standards.
The MN State Agriculture Center of Excellence has experience with similarly organized projects related to Career and Technical Education with MDE. The project leader has experience with both secondary and postsecondary safety instruction, training, and practices.
