Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WCEC will sample groundwater from up to 100 residential wells for PFAS, and make arrangements for transport of samples to the analytical laboratory. In addition to water supply wells, up to five monitoring wells will be sampled as requested by the MPCA. As requested by MPCA, WCEC may also collect samples from residences with existing GAC vessels to treat the water. Sampling will occur primarily south of I-94 (Cottage Grove, Woodbury, Newport, Afton, and St. Paul Park areas).
