Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WCEC will coordinate and track the delivery of bottled water to East Metro residents who have been issued a well advisory. This will include the coordination of bottled water delivery as needed, the submission of stop-water requests, and budget management tasks. WCEC will conduct quarterly audits of stop-water requests and associated MPCA/subcontractor correspondence; provide database and MPCA Updates; Log well advisory data into the advisory database and maintain copies of advisory letters sent to the owners; Assemble stop-water lists after granular activated carbon (GAC) systems are installed or after resample results from MDH demonstrate that water supplies have been determined to be safe for drinking; Research discrepancies between water delivery audits and database, and update database with findings; and conduct faucet filter installations as directed by MPCA.
