Project 1007 SAFF & DE-FLUORO Testing
{Empty}
AECOM will oversee a subsurface investigation in four locations selected to be highest priority along the Project 1007 conveyance system. The proposed work includes the installation of two bedrock aquifer wells at each location, for a total of eight wells. Downhole geophysical logging will also be conducted, including gamma logging, video logging, caliper logging, multi-parameter e-logging, and electro-magnetic flow meter logs. Discreet vertical aquifer profile (VAP) ground water samples will also be collected from the uppermost unconsolidated/till overburden that will be used as a guide to determine quaternary well screen depth placement during future well installation. All samples will be submitted for PFAS analysis (MLA-110) utilizing a state subcontracted lab (AXYS). Costs for the PFAS analysis will be contracted directly to the MPCA and are not included in this Work Order. A summary of the sample results will be prepared and provided to the MPCA in the form of a technical memo and summary table. Investigative Derived Waste (IDW) will be stored in drums or frac tanks until profiled for disposal. No disposal costs are included in this Work Order
