This was for the Office of Ombudsman for Long-Term Care (OOLTC) , we are advocates for people in long-term care settings statewide. A program of the MN Board on Aging. The COVID-19 pandemic presented an unprecedented challenge to our state and to the deployment of advocacy services. The virus is highly contagious, including among asymptomatic people, and potentially deadly. The threat to health and safety from the spread of COVID-19 is perhaps most acute in the settings Ombudsmen staff have authority to enter.

Testing is a critical tool for quickly identifying new introductions of COVID-19 and enabling an early response to prevent further transmission of the virus. To protect, to the extent reasonably possible, the health and safety of the OOLTC staff from the direct threat resulting from the spread of COVID-19, I required OOLTC staff whose job includes entry inside MDH-regulated settings to test on a regular basis .

Vault Health (VH) was timely and efficient in the delivery of access to testing kits
The quality was good. A few problems emerged for some staff with shipping and delivery receiving at home test kits timely. A few instances where initial point of VH contact for customer service help was delayed in terms of resolving the problem.
This was a master State contract so I had no access to the actual detail of the contract.
Very good
