Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to conduct vapor intrusion investigation activities to further define the extent of the vapor intrusion area of concern and additional site characterization assessment activities to further define the extent of chlorinated solvent impacts within/near the source area. Activities included property access coordination, managing and reviewing the sampling results, and preparing sampling results letters, and a draft characterization assessment report. This work was necessary to document soil vapor, soil and groundwater concentrations near the Site.
