Evaluate the contractor's timeliness The contractor said he worked 8 hours a day but the Director of Student Support Services Brittany Thomforde could not verify that. Part of this was due to COVID and distant learning. The students are in School 8-3 which is only7 hours this includes their lunch time, changing classes, etc... Not sure how the contractor worked a full 8 hours each day.

Evaluate the contractor's quality The Academies were assured that the contractor knew ASL (American Sign Language) but he was a beginning so he could not communicate with the students. The Academies had to provide an ASL interpreter for his services. This was a huge added cost to the budget.

Evaluate the contractor's cost Too high for what he provided.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Not satisfied with his performance. Not satisfied with the quality. Not satisfied with the hours billed for. Not satisfied with their overall handling of this contract, including the office staff.

Describe any negative action taken during the duration of this contract (i.e., termination, pursuit of suspension, etc.): The first year seemed okay but the Academies feel like they were really taken advantage of by this contractor. We will absolutely never do business with them again.
