Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: To review and evaluate medical case file data related to the disability claims of Minnesotans who applied for Social Security Disability benefits. These reviews are completed in accordance with Social Security Administration policy and guidelines. Contractors analyze medical records and provide statements regarding applicants' residual level of function. The Code of Federal Regulations require these claims be reviewed by licensed medical doctors, psychologists, and speech language pathologists.

Evaluate the contractor's timeliness Contractor was always on time with his work and his hours. Very diligent in completing his medical reviews in an efficient and accurate manner.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Contractor is very thorough in his medical reviews and maintained high accuracy in his work. Contractor was always open to feedback and provided valuable suggestions to the agency for improvements as well. Contractor was able to review complex claims and summarize them in an efficient and approachable manner. He was viewed as an expert but was also able to maintain an approachable style. He worked well with other medical contractors, adjudicators and management.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance As stated previously, contractor was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, approachable and accurate. He was also able to adapt easily to changes in policy and software. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other unforeseen circumstances, his service were cut short in 2020/21. Would certainly engage with this contractor again if services were needed.
