We needed to bring in experienced Saleforce consultants that could provide design, training, immediate support, and transitioning long-term support to our internal staff.

If this was a single source contract, explain why the agency determined there was only a single source for the services (if applicable) This was a key resource in the architecture for a foundational system within the agency (MHFA). We originally procured this resource under the SITE program, for a defined project scope and time period. Due to the success of the project, our agency had made a strategic decision to build upon it. Due to this, we required this key resource to continue on. Due to the resources in depth knowledge of the system, business processes, and agency work, it would be detrimental and illogical to start with a new resource.
