Shrinkage and other precursors to early failure occur within the paste content of concrete. It is sustainable therefore to optimize cementitious content. MnDOT and NRRA wanted to know how low we can reduce the cementitious content of concrete and still have durable concrete. This research was set up to solve that problem.
