AECOM will continue to oversee the installation of bedrock monitoring wells at locations selected to be highest priority along the Project 1007 conveyance system. The FY21 proposed subsurface work includes the installation of eight bedrock aquifer wells at multiple locations (Beta sites), the installation of 20 shallow (quaternary) wells, and up to 75 piezometers as part of the initial focus investigations to be completed.
AECOM will provide coordination, oversight, and soil/water sampling during the well/piezometer installation fieldwork. Drilling will be contracted under the State Drilling Contract.
