Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to supplement MnDOT engineers and inspectors to inspect the St. Croix Crossing bridge. This
bridge is a mile long with 7 internal cells and internal towers. MnDOT does not have the adequate amount of staff to complete
an inspection of this magnitude in a timely manner. Entering into this contract allowed multiple staff, cross-learning, and an
inspection completed within 2 weeks instead of the anticipated 4 weeks
