Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The goal of this evaluation was first to assess the degree to which MDE’s implementation of the data collection and report systems aligned with community priorities through its use of a community-based process for creating report templates and in establishing reports that provide high value information on AAPI student performance to schools, districts and stakeholders. The second is more summative in nature focused on a review of the implementation of MARSS-WES, MARSS-ODS, and the effectiveness of training and technical assistance efforts to ensure high quality data and efficient technical integration into existing systems.
