Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has requirements to flow environmental data to the Environmental Protection Agency through EPA’s data exchange network. The focus of this contract was to restore existing data flows that were affected by switch of the MPCA’s enterprise database from Delta to Tempo and to provide support for data flows. Subsequent extensions included additional data flows.
The contractor worked with MPCA and MNIT staff to map data from MPCA data systems to standard EPA schemas, and then implement an extraction, transformation, load, and flow process to EPA.
