Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: MNIT was in need of a part-time a staff augmentation resource to assist the MNIT PCI team with planning, implementing, and maintaining of the PCI-DSS compliance program within the State of Minnesota. The work was necessary because MNIT has a responsibility to secure and protect Minnesota data. The process of Payment Card Industry (PCI) Readiness Assessment helps MNIT and agency partners verify correct interpretation of PCI DSS rules with appropriate implementation of controls in the agency cardholder data environments to maintain compliance with PCI DSS.

Evaluate the contractor's timeliness The onset of COVID at the beginning of the contract posed some challenges to work through, but overall the resource meet the teams expectations on timely delivery of requests.

Evaluate the contractor's quality The resource provided a good quality of work for the state.

Evaluate the contractor's cost The State feels they paid a fair price for the work that was performed.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Overall the resource was good. COVID added unforeseen challenges to the work which the State, vendor, and resource needed to work through but in the end did not negatively effect the project outcome.
