Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: WCEC will coordinate and supervise the installation of granular activated carbon (GAC) systems. This includes the oversight of annual GAC installations at up to 300 residences in in the Lake Elmo, West Lakeland, Stillwater, Oakdale, and Afton areas. WCEC will document cases where occasional troubleshooting visits (service calls) and system repairs were required to be performed as needed, when requested by residents. Other activities could include minor plumbing adaptations as required. Summary reports of progress will be provided, and a database of systems installed will be maintained by WCEC.
