Very satisfied
Satisfied. It would have been best to schedule the 4th quarter groundwater monitoring to be truly quarterly. A quick email to ask the project team’s opinion prior to scheduling would have worked well here although we are understanding of the fact that the COVID response requires some additional flexibility and work may not always be carried out perfectly as it was prior.
Very satisfied. Two rejected invoices because retainage can only be requested on the final invoice. Also in one of those invoices tried to claim reimbursement for rental items rather than just billing out on CMC invoice directly for items included in the budget. Some items were not included in the budget but there was no change order covering them and tubing is considered overhead if <$100. Also needed Pace SCOF for PVOCs fully signed prior to use. Discussed all issues with Chris and two invoices were corrected and resubmitted.
Very satisfied. Brevity in preparation of work plans and reporting text would be something I would ask him to focus on in the future (this has been mentioned in past contractor evaluations). In addition, I would recommend that prior to submitting invoicing to fiscal, for accuracy he should compare the invoice to what we have within the current budget. And when in doubt, please email the project manager as it’s easier to correct up front than it is to process an invoice rejection. I do enjoy working with Chris and I look forward to working with him in the future. Thank you for your hard work this fiscal year!
