Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of the contract was to bring together a number of veteran educators and safety experts to develop and write the first phase of a statewide safety guidance resource for secondary teachers working in Career and Technical Education (CTE). It was necessary to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with the contractor because of their expertise with CTE Agricultural and Industrial Technology environments and safety culture.

Evaluate the contractor's quality Very Satisfactory: Excellent understanding of each of the key projects tasks. The objectives and deliverables were all met. The contractor understood expectations of the contract and demonstrated the ability to develop high quality work and meet deadlines.
