Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The contract enabled MnDOT to provide critical enhancement, maintenance, and support for four agency applications: (1) The Business Data Catalog (BDC) which is a metadata depository that stores and published information on the agency's physical and data assets. (2) The Outdoor Advertising Permits Reporting & Tracking (OAPRT) which tracks and monitors all outdoor advertising billboard permits. (3) The Traffic Roadway Estimate Network Data (TREND) which combines data from multiple applications to associate traffic count values with roadway segments. (4) The Road and Characteristics Electronic Request (RACER) which communicates changes that users want made in MnDOT's Linear Referencing System data.
