Trauma Prescreen Pilot
{Empty}
Wilder was to validate the Structured Decision Making tool (SDM) as a prescreen tool to use to indicate trauma in children. All child protection workers currently complete the SDM tool on all child protection cases. The developers of the SDM tool had indicated some of the items in the safety and risk assessment could be indicators of trauma. A contract was made with Wilder to validate the SDM tool as a trauma tool.
