Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Wilder was to validate the Structured Decision Making tool (SDM) as a prescreen tool to use to indicate trauma in children. All child protection workers currently complete the SDM tool on all child protection cases. The developers of the SDM tool had indicated some of the items in the safety and risk assessment could be indicators of trauma. A contract was made with Wilder to validate the SDM tool as a trauma tool.

Evaluate the contractor's quality The quality of the contractor's work was very thorough, complete and excellent.

Evaluate the contractor's cost The cost was within the contract. There was an RFP and the contractor was below the maximum amount allowed.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance Excellent. The contractor did a thorough job and I had weekly phone or email communication with them. We also met in person on a monthly basis. The contractor was very thorough and complete.
