SRF did a great job on all aspects of this project. They selected some technology that we should test, they oversaw the installation of the sensors and they coordinated the writing of a manual that can be used by MnDOT and stakeholders to conduct, manage and report on bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The collaborated with the work being done by the U of M and helped maximize what we could accomplish on a very tight budget. It is great to have Erik Minge from SRF working on this. He has followed bicycle and pedestrian detection technology for several decades. His expertise and credibility with traffic engineers will help us gain credibility over time. Cortney Falero was very organized, thoughtful and well prepared. She did a great job presenting information at the workshop.
