Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Plan generation for multilane roundabouts at the intersections of TH 22 & Madison Avenue, and TH 22 & Adams Street in Mankato. Additionally, plan generation to update traffic signals along the TH 22 corridor (from TH 83 to North Victory Drive) to retrofit with flashing yellow arrow displays with ADA improvements. Contract provided a public relations campaign to reach road users in navigating multilane roundabouts, and to explain why they’re being constructed. Contract was necessary, due to limited staff capacity, to complete this work by contract.

The contractor was able to complete the deliverables in time to meet the letting date.
