The purpose of the contract was to task AECOM to complete groundwater monitoring at a network of monitoring wells at and near the former Cedar Service Wood Treatment Facility located in Bemidji. In addition to groundwater monitoring, the contract tasked AECOM to oversee the installation of seven (7 ) new monitoring wells to delineate the extent of the pentachlorophenol contamination. Monitoring and delineation of the contamination will provide the necessary information to assist development of corrective measures.
