2014-2015 Toward Zero Deaths Regional Workshops
99008w134
This contract provided for the planning and implementation of a regional TZD workshop in each of the following regions in 2014 and 2015 (for a total of 16 workshops): Northeast (MnDOT District 1), Northwest (MnDOT District 2), East Central (MnDOT District 3), West Central (MnDOT District 4), metro (MnDOT Metro District), Southeast (MnDOT District 6), South Central (MnDOT District 7), and Southwest (MnDOT District 8). This contract also supported EMS scholarships and AV support at the 2013 and 2014 TZD statewide conferences in St. Cloud and Duluth, Minn., respectively.
This contract was necessary to further the Toward Zero Deaths initiative and its corresponding goals. It was reasonable to use a contract for this project due to lack of available staff and expertise in the area of workshop management and production at multiple locations.

Contractor was timely in all aspects of this contract. Facilities were reserved; adequate staffing was available at all of the workshops.
The quality of the contractor was in line with previous experiences and expectations. They have provided similar support over the past several years and this year we had the more workshops than in previous years with the same high quality outcome.
Costs were in line with previous workshops
Overall the contractor performance was in line with previous efforts related to delivering the TZD regional workshops. They are very well versed at the level of effort needed to organize and deliver these events.
