The Contractor for the most part was timely with showing up to perform the needed plant monitoring. However, timeliness of turning in needed concrete plant monitor documentation and reports was an issue along with billing in a timely manner.
The Contractors ability to track sample test results at times resulted in loss of dada resulting in the Contractor not being able to provide all needed documentation and completed reports for concrete plant monitoring. The Contractor on one occasions send a non-qualified tester out to perform testing. The Contractors Bituminous Plant monitoring fully met quality expectations
The Contractor did not Bill in a timely manner for the bituminous plant monitoring work. The rate that was charged was the rate’s for the Contract.
Overall, there were issues related to the Concrete Plant monitoring. Related to adequate tracking of documentation and test results. This has been discussed with the Contractor and I believe that they understand the necessity for tracking of this information. The Contractors work related to Bituminous Plant monitoring was good.
