Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: MnDOT believes that there is still room to progress the ITS system towards more advanced capabilities. The first step in that process is to develop a Statewide ITS Plan that connects to MnDOT’s family of plans, to document the state of the current system and the needs moving forward, and to plan for investment and effective ITS operations.

The result of this project is a comprehensive Final ITS Plan along with appropriate Power Point presentations, project one-pagers and materials for presentation to a variety of audiences. Final Report was submitted electronically in a format suitable for print and web based applications.

This project was necessary to advance the Minnesota GO Initiative and provide investment strategies which incorporate ITS into the overall planning process.

Evaluate the contractor's timeliness PB was able to deliver the project on time and produced interim deliverables as scheduled. PB adjusted well, when our internal review cycles pushed the scheduled back an extra month.

Evaluate the contractor's quality The quality of all of the deliverables was very good. Content that was not thought of was suggested and added after PMT approval.

Evaluate the contractor's cost The cost of the project was in alignment for the time and effort it seemed to require.

Evaluate the contractor's overall performance I was very happy with PB project manager, Nick Thompson. Nick was great to work with and added a lot of value to the content of the plan. He was able to deliver key messages very effectively to MnDOT senior leadership. He was recognized as an expert in this field and his opinions were specifically sought. The plan document itself was well thought out and professionally prepared. Overall great job.
