Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: This contract provided professional services to develop and deliver training programs in the areas of traffic signs, signals and lighting to state, county, city and consultant personnel. Multiple training sessions were provided over the course of five years. Training was delivered in a classroom setting for 24-40 participants per class session and providedall course materials to the participants.

This contract was necessary to ensure traffic related statutes and technical specifications are consistently applied throughout the State of Minnesota in order to provide safe and efficient traffic systems whether federal, state or local roadways.
