Gopher State One Call Ticket Management System

This contract implemented a locate ticket application that integrated with the KorWeb One Call management system used by Gopher State One Call. Use of this application increased efficiency in locating and ticket processing, reduced costs associated with repairing underground facilities damaged during excavations, and made MnDOT’s facility location data more accessible to GSOC. The web-based ticket management software aided staff in successfully protecting underground facilities, preventing service interruptions and allowing excavators and homeowners to dig safely.

The contract was necessary in order for MnDOT to more efficiently and accurately meet the legal requirements of Gopher State One-Call as set forth in Minnesota State Statute Chapter 216D. Excavation Notice System.
