Collaborative for sediment source reduction
{Empty}
The Collaborative for Sediment Source Reduction (CSSR) project was funded by a series of four grants, each covering a different aspect of the entire project. The primary goal of CSSR was "To identify a consensus strategy for reducing sediment loading in the greater Blue Earth watershed using a framework that incorporates the best available scientific information, accounts for uncertainty, and provides a model for decision making throughout the Minnesota River Basin". The MN Department of Ag funded the objective to extend a sediment budget compiled in the Le Sueur watershed to the entire Greater Blue Earth River (GBER) watershed.

Karen Gran responded to emails in a timely manner. The contract was extended to be in line with the full CSSR project.
The quality of the work preformed by Karen Gran and team was as expected and very professional.
Costs were comparable to other projects, perhaps slightly lower considering the duration of the project.
Overall, I enjoyed the opportunity to work with the University of Minnesota, Duluth and Karen Gran on the project. They were flexible when asked to present and provide written information on the project summary.
