Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: Development & Evaluation of Training and coaching content (DETCC) Master contract was set up to address the following services:
1. Understanding of MN's K-12 Academic Content Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics for the purpose of designing standards-based Individualized Education Program (IEP), learning progression/instructional sequences, and formative assessments.
2. Use assessment date (formative/summative) to match student's needs on a learning progressions in order to select the best research-based practice, accommodations/modifications, and assistive technology.
3. Develop trainings and coaching on the guidance and practice articulated in the Manual for Determining Eligibility of Students with Specific Learning Disabilities.
4. Literacy and math research-based practices for students with developmental cognitive disabilities, speech, or language impairments and specific learning disabilities
5. Use of performance and evaluation data to make continuous improvements to training content, training delivery, coaching of trainers and job aides.
