Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: State plans to reconstruct the TH 75/I-94 interchange in Moorhead to include a diverging diamond interchange. There will be extra auxiliary lanes added to I-94 for eastbound and westbound from the interchange going east on 20th Street. All four (4) ramps will be reconstructed. Additional work involved includes resurfacing, signals, lighting, and curbs/ramps. The purpose of this contract is to complete a limited Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Phase II Investigation. The Phase II Investigation will be based on the results of the Phase I and anticipated construction. This information will be used by State to determine final project design plans/specifications and to potentially obtain liability protections.
