Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of this project was to conduct an Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) at the intersection of Minnesota Trunk Highway 67 and County State Aid Highway 101 in the city of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. The study determined the level of improvement warranted for the intersection based on current and future traffic patterns.

The result of this project is a Final Intersection Control Evaluation document completed according to State guidelines which include the analysis, concept drawings and cost estimates, and a cost benefit analysis.

This contract was necessary to improve safety, manage traffic flow and efficiently manage State resources at the intersection evaluated based on current and projected traffic patterns.
