Summarize purpose of the contract, including why it was necessary: The purpose of this contract was to Provide contract administration and inspection for two landscape construction projects in accordance with the MnDOT Contract Administration Manual. S.P. 2782-295 is located along I-35W from 42nd Street in Minneapolis to 66th Street in Richfield. S.P. 2782-319 is located along I-35W from Penn Avenue South to Nicollet Avenue in Minneapolis and Richfield.

It was necessary to enter into a contract because due to MnDOT’s large construction program, MnDOT construction inspection personnel were unavailable for this project when needed.
