The University of MN was named as a partner for planning and evaluating activities for HIV school based prevention strategies in the grant MDE applied for (and received) through the federal government. This P/T contract also entails activities for the University of MN to develop and deliver a capacity building training for 10-12 school districts, identified by MDE, on conducting a comprehensive needs assessment using data from multiple source relevant to this project. The University of MN Prevention Research Center conducted follow up technical assistance to each of the 10-12 districts during district team meetings.
