The purpose of the contract was to task AECOM to complete groundwater monitoring at a network of monitoring wells at and near the former Cedar Service Wood Treatment Facility located in Bemidji, MN. The monitoring tracks and provides critical information about groundwater contaminated with pentachlorophenol. The pentachlorophenol was used by the Cedar Service Wood Treatment Facility to treat power poles from 1971-1980.
